Description

We stock the Betone as a 7W outdoor bollard light cast from cement and aluminium, standing 490mm tall for ground-level path lighting. An oval aperture cut through the cement face lets an integrated LED wash 500 lumens of warm white (3000K) light downwards through a wide 96 degree spread, so you get diffused illumination across the ground rather than a hard spot.

It is built for gardens, driveways, poolside edges and coastal spots, and the IP65 rating seals the internal parts against dust and water jets from any direction, so it copes with rain and wet locations outdoors. Set the bollards a few metres apart along a path and the 96 degree beam keeps coverage continuous, with warm 3000K light that reads well on paving and planting and a 90 CRI that keeps colours looking natural.

The cement body shows natural aggregate texture and slight tonal variation from one unit to the next, which is normal for cast concrete, while the aluminium base plate lets you surface-mount it onto paving or fix it into soft landscaping. The integrated LED is not dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V mains, so it needs hard-wiring into an outdoor lighting circuit by a qualified electrician.

Frequently Asked

Can I use the Betone outdoors?

Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, so it is sealed against dust and water jets from any direction and is suited to garden paths, driveways, poolside edges and coastal locations.

Is it dimmable?

No. The Betone runs at a fixed output, drawing 7W to give 500 lumens of warm 3000K white light whenever it is switched on.

How do I install it?

The bollard sits on an aluminium base plate that you can surface-mount onto paving or fix into soft landscaping. It wires into standard 220-240V mains and should be connected to an outdoor lighting circuit by a qualified electrician.

How far apart should I space them?

The 96 degree beam gives a wide, diffused spread of warm light. Setting the bollards a few metres apart along a pathway keeps the coverage continuous without dark gaps between fittings.
