Description

The Bella Direct is a slim aluminium pendant light: a flat round disc 10.1cm across and just 1.3cm deep, hung from a fine 14cm stem in a Brushed Titanium finish. Its integrated LED lights a ring beneath the disc and casts its light downwards, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 388lm with a CRI of 90, which keeps the colours of food and fabric true, and it draws 4.5W or 6.5W depending on the version. We offer it in 2700K or 3000K: the 2700K version gives a warmer, softer light and the 3000K version a slightly crisper white.

It suits a dining room or a living room, where a small disc of light hung low over a table, a sideboard or a reading chair works better than a large shade. It hangs on a drop of up to 300cm, so it sits comfortably under a standard ceiling or in a taller room. It comes in two canopy versions: with its own canopy, 5.5cm across and 13cm tall, for hanging on its own, or without a canopy, for multi-pendant canopies, sold separately, which hang several pendants from one ceiling point. The 24V DC version needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, to power it. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

It runs on 230V mains and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. The Brushed Titanium finish has a fine brushed grain that keeps reflections soft, and the thin disc stays neat from every angle in the room. As a practical note, choose your canopy version and colour temperature together, and if you take the version without a canopy, order the multi-pendant canopy at the same time so everything is ready for your electrician.
