Description

This metal LED table lamp wraps a cream cylinder in cut-out bees, with a honeycomb on one side, a beehive hanging from a leafy branch on the other and a meadow of wildflowers running all the way round its base. The bees are cut in fine detail, their wings and striped bodies picked out in the metal, and they drift across every side, so the lamp looks finished from whichever angle you place it. The outside is a soft cream, while the inside and the round foot are gold, and with the LED on, the light shows through each cut-out so the bees and flowers stand out against the cream. It stands 18.6cm tall and 10.6cm across, a neat size for a shelf or side table.

Because it runs on batteries, there is no cable to trail and no need to sit it near a socket, so you can place it wherever a little light would be welcome: a bedside table, a bookcase, a windowsill or the middle of a dining table.
