Description

The Beacon EVCS Remote Alarm Panel is a stainless steel wall-mounted alarm interface designed to work with Beacon master stations in emergency voice communication systems. It features a high-volume sounder with adjustable volume control, a large 'Accept' button for call acknowledgement, and visual indicators showing incoming call status and system status. The panel mounts into a standard 2-gang back box (not included) for either flush or surface installation.

Designed for buildings where BS5839-9:2021 compliant emergency voice communication is required — typically multi-occupancy residential blocks, care homes, hospitals and other institutional settings — the remote alarm panel allows security or facilities staff to acknowledge and respond to emergency calls from remote stations without returning to the central master station. The stainless steel faceplate resists vandalism and provides long service life in high-traffic or exposed locations.

The panel measures 185mm wide by 125mm high, sitting within the footprint of a standard UK 2-gang electrical accessory plate. The adjustable sounder allows volume to be set appropriately for the acoustic environment, ensuring alarm calls are audible without causing unnecessary disturbance in quieter areas. The 'Isolate Before Opening' warning label and dedicated status LEDs guide operational use and maintenance access.
