Description

A slim satin nickel bar carries three E27 lampholders in a line, hung on adjustable suspension that can sit tucked up close to the ceiling or drop as far as 210cm below it. The holders are left bare on purpose. This is a universal fitting, made to take shades of your choosing, so the character of the finished light comes from whatever glass, fabric or metal you pair with it rather than from the bar itself.

It earns its keep over a long dining table, a kitchen island or a run of worktop, where light spreads further along than a single pendant ever manages. It suits a hallway or a bar counter just as well. We would fit LED GLS lamps rated up to 20W in each holder, matched to one another so the light stays even from end to end, and it will dim if those lamps are paired with a compatible dimmer. Keep it to dry indoor rooms; damp and steam are not its territory.

The bar and holders wear a satin nickel finish, a soft grey that reads quieter than polished chrome and sits comfortably alongside brushed taps and handles. Wipe it now and then with a dry microfibre cloth, and where fingerprints build up on the metal, a barely damp cloth followed by a thorough dry will lift them without dulling the sheen; polishes and aerosol sprays are best kept well away. It carries a one year warranty. We stock the same linear pendant in polished chrome and antique brass, and in a longer version for higher ceilings, alongside flush and semi flush fittings from the same range for rooms where a drop would be in the way. Lamps are not included.
