The Bask is a 64cm crystal chandelier built around a French gold-plated cylindrical frame housing six E14 bulbs distributed evenly around the perimeter. Faceted crystal droplets hang in vertical strands along the frame's outer surface, forming a dense reflective layer that refracts light radially when the bulbs are lit. The crystals are uniform in cut and spacing, creating consistent light dispersion across the fitting's 360-degree profile.

Designed for dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Bask works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The adjustable drop ranges from 670mm minimum to 1600mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or higher in a stairwell or entrance hall. The 18.5kg weight requires a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point rather than a standard plasterboard ceiling rose.

The French gold finish is a warm-toned metallic plating that sits between polished brass and antique brass in colour, pairing well with traditional, classical and warm contemporary interiors. The cylindrical frame geometry means the fitting presents the same profile from all viewing angles, making it suitable for central ceiling positions where it will be seen from multiple sides. Is the Bask dimmable?

The chandelier itself supports dimming, but you must use dimmable E14 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail when used with a dimmer.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 670mm minimum drop suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above when hanging over a dining table. For higher ceilings or entrance halls, the drop can be extended to 1600mm using the adjustable chain during installation.

Does the fitting require reinforced ceiling support?

Yes. At 18.5kg the chandelier must be fixed into a ceiling joist or onto a reinforced mounting point. A standard plasterboard ceiling rose without additional support will not safely carry this weight. An electrician should assess the ceiling structure before installation.
