Description
We stock the Basic Texture in its wood-effect black finish as a compact wall light for everyday circulation spaces. It has an integrated 8W LED giving between 473 and 522 lumens through a wide 180 degree beam, and a switchable colour temperature that lets you pick 2700K warm white, 3000K neutral white or 4000K cool white to suit the room. The metal body carries a matt black finish that reads as a textured, wood-like surface, giving it a low-key presence on the wall.
We think this one earns its place in corridors, stairwells, hallways and bedrooms, where a wall-mounted fitting adds light without taking up floor or ceiling space. Mounted on the wall it casts light both upward and downward in equal measure, so it works for gentle ambient light or as a soft accent beside a doorway or along a landing. With an IP20 rating it is made for dry indoor spots, so we would keep it away from bathrooms and any wall exposed to the weather.
The 8W LED is built in and not replaceable, and it runs on a standard 50Hz AC 220-240V mains supply, so there are no separate bulbs to buy. You choose the colour temperature by toggling the wall switch during installation, or by pressing the switch a few times afterwards. It is not dimmable, and the 80 CRI rating covers general circulation areas well, though a task-critical spot may want a higher-CRI source alongside it. The energy class is G.

Frequently Asked
Does it need a bulb?
No. The 8W LED is integrated and non-replaceable, so it arrives ready to wire in with no separate bulbs to buy. It runs on a standard 50Hz AC 220-240V mains supply.
Can I choose the light colour?
Yes. It has switchable colour temperature across 2700K warm white, 3000K neutral white and 4000K cool white. You set it by toggling the wall switch during installation, or by pressing the switch a few times afterwards.
Is it dimmable?
No, this light is not dimmable. If you want variable brightness we would suggest looking at one of our dimmable fittings instead.
