Description

We stock the Basic Texture as a low-profile wall light cut from natural stone, with grey veining running across a white base. It is a rectangular 8W LED fitting rated at 500 lumens, and the LED module sits behind the stone panel so the light passes through the mineral itself. When it is switched on the stone becomes the visible element, turning the veining into a lit texture rather than a flat surface, and because each panel is cut from a different section no two fittings look quite the same.

This 80mm version suits hallways, corridors, staircases and feature walls where you want light close to the plane of the wall without a fitting that projects far from it. The 180 degree beam pushes light both forward and along the wall surface, and the rectangular profile can sit horizontally or vertically to follow the run of the wall or the proportions of the room. The white stone reads well against both neutral and warm-toned interiors.

The integrated 8W LED is dimmable, so you can take it from full brightness down to a soft glow on a compatible dimmer (sold separately). It runs on standard 220-240V mains and carries an IP20 rating, which means it is made for dry interior use only. The 80 CRI is well suited to residential rooms, and the marble finish here is the 80mm size, distinct from the 50mm White version in the same range.

Is this wall light dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 8W LED dims on a compatible dimmer (sold separately), so you can set it from full brightness down to a soft glow to suit the room.

Where can I use it?

It is rated IP20 for dry interior locations only, so it works in hallways, corridors, staircases and on feature walls indoors. We would not recommend it for bathrooms or outdoor use.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The LED is built into the fitting rather than taking a separate bulb, giving 500 lumens of warm white light from an 8W module wired to standard 220-240V mains.

How is this different from the other Basic Texture marble wall lights?

This is the 80mm white marble version. We also stock a smaller 50mm white marble size, plus larger 150mm and 300mm black marble options, so you can match the size to your wall.
