Description

We stock the Basic Texture as an 8W LED wall light in a black rectangular metal body, and this is the wider 300mm version in our marble-effect finish. The integrated LED gives between 474 and 526 lumens depending on which colour temperature you choose, and you can switch between warm 2700K, neutral 3000K and cooler 4000K white. It runs straight off 220 to 240V AC mains, so there is no separate driver to house.

We think of this one as a soft wall wash rather than a spotlight. The 180 degree beam spreads light evenly along the wall surface, which makes it well suited to hallways, landings, stairwells and corridors where you want gentle wayfinding light without harsh pools or heavy shadow. It mounts directly to a standard UK back box and sits close to the wall, so it stays out of the way in tighter circulation spaces. The IP20 rating means it is for dry indoor areas only.

The black finish is powder-coated to a matt surface that resists fingerprints and sits comfortably with contemporary, industrial and minimalist rooms. It is not dimmable, so it stays at a fixed output, and the 80 CRI is fine for general circulation lighting rather than colour-critical work like display or gallery walls. If you want the same look in a smaller size, we also carry the 150mm marble version in black.
