This is an oval stoneware vase in a deep, glossy blue, covered in large matt ovals with a fine speckled texture. The ovals vary in size and sit close together over the whole body, so the pattern reads strongly from across a room and still rewards a closer look. The body swells out from a small, narrow mouth to full shoulders and tapers slightly to its base, giving a soft, pebble-like outline. It stands 20cm tall and measures 14.5cm across, a medium size that holds its own on a side table without crowding it.
