Description

The Balance is a 5-light chandelier with a matt black metal frame, polished nickel joint detailing and five cylindrical white acrylic shades suspended from a branched arm structure. Each shade houses an E27 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) and sits over a white laminate reflector panel visible through the open bottom of the cylinder, directing light downward while the diffuser softens the spread.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the chandelier provides distributed task and ambient light across a 535mm diameter footprint. The drop is adjustable between 350mm and 1250mm during installation, allowing the chandelier to be set at the correct height above a dining table (typically 700-800mm clearance) or island worktop (typically 600-900mm). The black ceiling rose conceals the cable entry and the stem is height-adjustable by cutting to length before fixing.

The polished nickel accents appear at the central hub and on the collar sections that grip each shade to the black arm, creating a warm metallic contrast against the matt black finish. The acrylic diffusers soften direct glare from the bulbs while the laminate reflector panel at the base of each shade redirects light downward, making the chandelier suitable for task lighting over tables rather than purely decorative ambient wash.
