Description

A garden chair in iron, 89.5cm tall, 54cm wide and 62cm deep. A band of interlacing loops runs across the top of the back, with straight bars carrying it down to the seat. The seat is a set of flat straight slats. The arms sweep forward from the back and curve down into the front legs, and the back legs splay out with a curved brace between them. The rust finish reads brown across a garden and warmer orange where the light strikes it, and the iron is smooth to the hand.

The seat is 43cm from the floor, 53cm across and 44cm deep, which leaves room for a scatter cushion without crowding it. The chair takes 54cm by 62cm of ground. It is made for outdoor use.

The chair is iron throughout, with no wood or fabric in it, and the same rust finish runs over the frame, the back panel and the seat slats. The Bahula is also made as a bench in the same iron and the same finish. A cushion is not included.

Frequently Asked

How high is the seat?

43cm from the floor. The seat is 53cm across and 44cm deep.

Can it stay outside?

It is made for outdoor use, but it should be stored away or indoors over the winter months and through spells of bad weather, which will prolong its life.

Is a cushion included?

No. The seat is wide enough to take a scatter cushion, which is worth adding for comfort.

What is it made from?

Iron, in a rust finish.

Is there a matching piece?

Yes. The Bahula is also made as a bench.

How do I look after it?

Wipe it clean regularly with a damp cloth to prevent dirt or mould building up. Avoid abrasive cleaning products, which will damage the finish.
