Description

This framed wooden cloud plaque gives a new baby girl's nursery a gentle welcome, with a raised white cloud set on a soft pink mount inside a crisp white frame. On the cloud a little grey elephant holds up a pink balloon dotted with tiny hearts. Beside them are a posy of pastel flowers and the words "Our DREAMS came true when we first saw you", with DREAMS picked out in capital letters. Below the cloud, between two small white hearts, the mount reads "Our precious Baby Girl". It measures 22cm wide, 16.5cm high and 2cm deep.

It suits the early days of a little girl's life and the room she sleeps in. In a nursery or a baby's bedroom, its pink and white palette sits happily alongside pastel soft furnishings, and the cloud and elephant bring a playful note. We think it makes a thoughtful gift for new parents, whether you are visiting after the birth, bringing a present to a baby shower or marking a gender reveal with something that lasts longer than the balloons. It is a keepsake for her room rather than a toy. It is best kept on the wall or a shelf, where it can stay through her first years and well beyond.

The frame is wood with a white finish, and the cloud stands proud of the pink mount. This gives the design a little depth as the light falls across it. A hanger on the back means it goes up on a single picture hook or nail, and it can also rest on a shelf leaning against the wall. To keep it looking fresh, dust it with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp. For a gift, tuck in a card with her name and birth date, and it becomes a keepsake the family will treasure long after the nursery has changed.
