This cream aluminium photo frame gives a baby's first picture a soft, gentle setting, with a border of tiny silver beads running all the way round the edge. Along the bottom, the word BABY sits among simple line drawings of a teddy bear in a pram, a pair of booties, a crescent moon and a frilled bib, with little hearts and stars scattered across the cream front. It holds one 6 x 4in photograph in a single rectangular opening, set landscape, and has no mount, so the whole print shows. The frame measures 19cm across, 16.5cm high and 1.5cm deep, small enough for a shelf or a bedside table.

We think it looks its best on a nursery shelf, a chest of drawers or a windowsill, where the earliest weeks stay in view every day.
