Description
B.Light 1 Plus is the same 70cm square mirror with the same single lit band across the upper part of the face, and a heating mat added behind the glass. The band is inset from the edges and the rest of the panel is a plain mirror, so the light comes through the glass and forward rather than spilling onto the wall behind it.
The mat is what the Plus buys you. Warm the glass and the room's moisture stops settling on it, so the mirror holds a clear patch while everything else in the bathroom mists over. It is the practical answer to a mirror opposite a shower. In every other respect it matches the standard model: 3cm deep, 10kg, a small round sensor below the lower edge to switch the light, rated bathroom proof, hung one way up on the two screws, washers and plugs supplied, and nothing to put together.
The build is partially mirrored glass on a metal carrier with an integrated LED and the heating mat behind. The LED has a two year warranty and the mirror itself seven. Clean the face with cleaner sprayed onto a cloth rather than onto the glass, and keep liquid away from the sensor at the bottom edge. Both the light and the mat sit behind the glass, so nothing is fixed to the front that has to be cleaned around. The mat warms a defined area rather than the whole sheet, which is worth knowing: the clear patch is generous but it is a patch, not the entire panel.

Frequently Asked
What does the Plus add?
A heating mat behind the glass, so the mirror holds a clear patch while the rest of the room mists over.
Does the mat clear the whole mirror?
It warms a defined area rather than the entire sheet. The clear patch is generous but it is a patch.
Where is the light?
One band across the upper part of the face, inset from the edges, shining through the glass rather than onto the wall.
How is it switched?
A small round sensor below the lower edge.
Is it rated for a bathroom?
Yes.
How does it differ from the standard model otherwise?
It does not. Same 70cm square, same 3cm depth, same 10kg, same fixings.
