The Aviance is a 580mm diameter crystal flush ceiling light with eight G4 halogen bulbs arranged behind a polished chrome circular canopy. Faceted clear crystals of varying sizes extend outward from the centre in a layered pattern, creating a low-profile fitting that sits 180mm from the ceiling when installed. Each crystal is cut to catch and refract light across multiple facets, turning the bulbs into a diffused glow rather than focused points.

Designed for rooms where ceiling height is limited or where a full pendant drop would overpower the space, the Aviance suits bedrooms, hallways, dining rooms and living rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights. The flush structure makes it a practical choice for landing ceilings, en-suite bathrooms (providing the circuit is outside the bathroom zone), and period properties where a close-to-ceiling fixture is needed. The crystals produce a soft ambient wash on surrounding walls and ceiling surfaces when the bulbs are on.

The fitting weighs 6kg, requiring a secure fixing into a joist or ceiling mounting plate capable of supporting that load. Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. Eight G4 20W halogen bulbs are included in the box. The bulbs are not LED or CFL compatible — replacement bulbs must be G4 halogen capsules rated at up to 20W each.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The Aviance is a flush fitting designed for rooms where ceiling height is limited or where a pendant would hang too low. It sits 180mm from the ceiling when installed, making it suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights and lower. Rooms with higher ceilings can also accommodate this fitting, though a pendant-style light may provide more visual balance in taller spaces.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the mains before cleaning. Dust the crystals with a dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, dampen the cloth slightly with distilled water and wipe each crystal individually. Avoid sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners that could leave residue on the polished chrome or dull the crystal facets.
