Description

The Averra is a 500mm rectangular wall light built around a tall panel of natural Spanish alabaster set on a solid copper frame, with a recessed brass channel running vertically down the centre of the stone. An integrated 18W LED behind the channel casts warm 3000K light, washing through the alabaster from within and outlining the brass insert with a soft halo.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedside positions and either side of a bathroom mirror or vanity, the Averra reads as architectural rather than ornamental. The 140mm width keeps it narrow enough for tighter wall returns and pier walls, while the 70mm projection sits close to the surface so it does not catch shoulders or sleeves in circulation areas. Pairs work well in symmetry either side of a bed, doorway or fireplace.

Each alabaster panel is cut from a different section of stone, so the veining, tonal shifts between soft white and warm ivory, and translucency vary between individual pieces. The solid copper backplate and brass detailing give the fitting weight and rigidity behind the stone, and the brushed brass channel sits flush within the alabaster rather than projecting forward, keeping the front face of the light planar and clean.

The 500mm height places the Averra in the middle of the range alongside smaller and larger siblings, suiting standard 2.4m ceiling heights without dominating the wall. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warm white output that flatters skin tones and pairs comfortably with both warm metallics and cooler grey-toned interiors.

Is the Averra dimmable?

The integrated LED runs at 18W on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model used, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

The Averra does not carry a published IP rating in its specification, so it should be treated as an indoor non-zone fitting. It is suitable for bedrooms, hallways, stairwells and living spaces, but should not be installed within bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual lights. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.

How is it cleaned?

Wipe the alabaster gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, which can mark the porous stone. The brass channel can be dusted with the same cloth.
