Description
The Averra Small is a 350mm capsule-shaped wall light with a body cut from natural Spanish alabaster and a central brass spine running the full length of the fitting. An integrated 6W LED sits behind the brass channel and casts warm 3000K light outwards through the stone, turning the alabaster itself into the diffuser. The fitting projects just 70mm from the wall and measures 140mm across.
Designed for hallways, bedside walls, stairwells and lounge feature walls, the Averra works in pairs flanking a bed, mirror or piece of art, or as a single accent above a console table. The slim 70mm projection keeps it clear of circulation routes in narrower hallways, and the elongated vertical form suits walls between 2.4m and 3m in height. Wiring runs through a concealed back plate sized to cover standard UK wall back boxes.
Each alabaster body shows different mineral veining and faint clouding depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so no two Averra wall lights look identical when lit. The solid copper internal frame carries the LED driver and the brass spine, giving the fitting structural rigidity behind the softer stone shell. The brass finish on the central channel is warm-toned rather than yellow, pairing comfortably with both cool greys and warmer plaster, oak and clay-toned walls.

Frequently Asked
Does the Averra come with the bulb included?
Yes. The 6W LED is integrated into the fitting and does not require a separate bulb. The LED runs at 3000K warm white on standard 230V mains.
Is it suitable for use in a bathroom?
The Averra is not supplied with a published IP rating, so it should be installed in dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones, en-suites or other areas exposed to moisture.
Does each piece of alabaster look the same?
No. Each body is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral lines and faint clouding vary between individual pieces. These variations become more visible when the light is on and are a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble.
