Description
The AVAR is a slim round LED ceiling light that recesses flush into the ceiling, drawing 40W to deliver 3500 lumens of cool white 4000K light across a wide 110 degree spread. As a flush mount LED ceiling light, it sits almost level with the surface at just 15 mm deep, with the integrated LED board doing the work of a traditional fitting and bulb in one. The even, neutral output keeps colours looking natural and suits spaces where a bright, clean light is wanted without any warm cast.
Around 12 m² is a sensible guide for a single AVAR at general lighting levels, which covers most kitchens, hallways, utility rooms and medium bedrooms. The 110 degree beam washes the floor and walls broadly rather than pooling in one spot, so it works well as the main ceiling source in rooms with standard ceiling heights. For larger open-plan areas or a long hallway, two or more units spaced along the run keep the light level consistent from end to end.
The body is aluminium alloy in a white finish, measuring 591 mm in diameter and 15 mm deep, and weighing only 460 g for an easy single-handed install. It carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for dry indoor rooms only and should be kept clear of bathrooms and any damp or exposed location. The driver is included in the box, the fitting recesses into the ceiling, and the LED is rated for 50,000 hours; note this model is not dimmable. The AVAR range also includes alternative wattages for matching fittings across several rooms.

Frequently Asked
What size room does this ceiling light suit?
With 3500 lumens at a neutral 4000K, a single AVAR comfortably lights around 12 m² at general lighting levels. That covers most kitchens, hallways, utility rooms and medium bedrooms. For larger or open-plan spaces, fit two or more units spaced evenly to keep the light consistent.
Is the AVAR dimmable?
No, this model is not dimmable and is designed to run at full output on a standard switch. If you need adjustable brightness, pair it with a fitting that supports dimming instead. The supplied driver is matched to the fixture for reliable, flicker-free running.
Does it use a replaceable bulb?
No, the AVAR has an integrated LED board rather than a separate bulb, so there is nothing to swap out. The LED is rated for 50,000 hours, which is many years of typical household use. The driver needed to run it is included in the box.
How do I clean the AVAR?
Switch the light off and let it cool, then wipe the white surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive pads that could mark the finish. As an IP20 fitting it must be kept dry, so never use a wet cloth or spray directly onto it.
