The Ava is a 450mm diameter crystal pendant light built from handcrafted polished chrome rings arranged into a spherical lattice, with each ring holding a faceted octagon crystal. Seven G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the sphere, casting light through the densely-packed crystal arrangement. The polished chrome finish reflects both natural and artificial light, creating a bright interplay between the metal framework and the cut-glass crystals.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and central living room positions, the Ava works in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The adjustable drop runs from 710mm minimum to 2170mm maximum, allowing the pendant to be set at the appropriate height above a dining table (typically 700-800mm) or hung lower in a double-height entrance. The 7.3kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load, and the polished chrome canopy and chain give a cohesive vertical run from ceiling to pendant.

Each octagon crystal is hand-placed into the chrome rings, so the density and alignment of the crystal pattern varies slightly between individual pendants. The spherical form distributes light in all directions, with the crystal facets breaking the light into scattered reflections that cover surrounding walls and ceilings. What bulbs does the Ava take?

The pendant requires seven G9 capsule bulbs, each rated up to 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K warm white for ambient lighting in dining and living rooms.

Is the Ava dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. The pendant itself has no electronic components that would prevent dimming — dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs chosen.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop runs from 710mm to 2170mm. For a dining table the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 450mm diameter means the pendant sits comfortably over tables 1.2-1.8m wide without overwhelming the space.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or getting moisture into the bulb sockets.
