Description

The AV:Link USB-C wall plate module is a 50mm x 25mm clip-in unit with a USB Type-C socket on the front faceplate and a male USB-C tail extending 20mm from the rear. The module allows USB-C cables to connect through a wall plate rather than trailing across surfaces, keeping installation paths concealed behind walls or furniture.

Designed for installation into modular wall plate frames (122.500UK and 122.505UK, sold separately), the module suits residential media walls, office AV setups, educational lecture rooms and commercial conference spaces where USB-C connectivity is needed at the wall rather than at the source device. The module supports USB 3.0 with data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, making it suitable for both charging and data sync applications including external drives, tablets and smartphones.

The white faceplate with black insert matches standard UK modular wiring accessories and sits flush once clipped into a compatible frame. The 19g weight keeps the module light enough that multiple units can be installed in a single multi-gang frame without pulling the frame forward from the wall. The male tail at the rear connects to USB-C extension cables or source devices positioned behind the wall plate, allowing the visible cable run to be limited to the front-facing connection only.
