This is a simple USB 3.0 extension lead with a Type-A plug on one end and a Type-A socket on the other. It gives you extra reach when a device or cable does not quite stretch to your computer or hub, so you can keep working without moving your kit around. The lead is designed for the latest super speed USB 3.0 devices, and it plugs straight into any standard Type-A port.

Data transfer runs at up to 5Gbps, which suits syncing files, backing up drives and moving larger folders without a long wait.
