Description

This 3m HDMI lead from AV:Link is built for 8K ultra HD video, carrying resolutions up to 7680 x 4320p at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz. It uses a solid copper core with 24K gold plated connectors, which help keep the signal strong and free from loss across the run. In the US you may see HDMI leads called HDMI cables, but the fitting and function are the same on both sides of the Atlantic.

Built to the HDMI 2.1 standard, the lead supports a data transfer rate of up to 48Gb/s at 60Hz, giving you the bandwidth needed for high frame rate 8K and 4K content. The 19+1 CU conductor handles video, audio and Ethernet over a single cable, so you can share an internet connection between compatible devices without running a separate network lead. Audio return channel and 3D playback are also supported.

The lead is HDCP 2.2 compliant, so it works with protected 4K and 8K sources such as streaming boxes, games consoles and modern Blu-ray players. At 3m it gives you room to reach a wall-mounted TV or a set-up placed a short distance from your source. Fit it once and it handles current and next-generation kit, so you are covered as your gear moves up to higher resolutions and refresh rates.
