Description

This AV:Link RG6 coaxial lead connects plug to plug over a 2.0m run, giving you a straightforward way to carry aerial (antenna) and satellite signals between your wall socket, set top box or TV. It uses a 75 Ohm design, which is the standard impedance for TV and satellite work in the UK, so it drops into most home setups without any fuss.

The cable is built around a solid copper clad steel (CCS) conductor with a foamed polyethylene dielectric. Around that sits an aluminium foil screen and a copper clad steel braid, both held under a PVC sheath. That combination of foil and braid cuts down noise reaching the conductor, which keeps digital, satellite and cable TV signals clean over the length of the run. The plugs are nickel plated coax connectors, fitted at both ends and ready to use.

The conductor measures 1mm in diameter and the braid is made up of 48 strands of 0.1mm wire. The finished cable has an overall diameter of 6.8mm, so it stays neat behind furniture and through cable runs. It arrives in a sealed retail bag, ready to plug in and go. If you need to link a TV to an aerial point or feed a signal from one room to another, this lead does the job with no extra adaptors needed.
