Description

The AV:Link HDMI wall plate module is a 50mm x 25mm euromodule with a gold-plated HDMI 2.0 socket on the front faceplate and a 15mm female HDMI tail extending from the rear. The module clips into standard 25mm euromodule frames (AV:Link frames 122.500UK and 122.505UK are compatible), allowing HDMI sources to be connected at the wall plate without exposed cable runs.

Designed for domestic AV installations, commercial conference rooms and educational settings where display devices are mounted separately from source equipment, the module allows an HDMI cable to run behind the wall or through conduit between the source location and the display. The female tail at the rear of the module accepts a standard male HDMI plug from the source equipment, while the front socket accepts the HDMI cable running to the display.

The gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and provide better signal contact than unplated terminals, reducing the risk of intermittent connection or signal degradation over time. The HDMI 2.0 specification supports resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz, HDR pass-through, and audio return channel (ARC) where the display and source both support it. At 32g the module adds minimal weight to a wall plate assembly and the 50mm x 25mm footprint allows two modules to fit side-by-side in a standard twin-gang euromodule frame.

The module clips into standard 25mm euromodule frames. AV:Link frames 122.500UK (single-gang) and 122.505UK (double-gang) are confirmed compatible. Other euromodule frames with 25mm apertures should also accept the module.

How long is the female tail at the rear?
