The AV:Link EC9B is a straightforward pair of in-ear stereo earphones built for everyday listening. Each earbud houses a 10mm super bass ferrite magnetic driver, which gives you clear, full sound with a bit of weight behind the low end. The frequency response covers 20Hz to 20kHz, so you get the full range across music, podcasts and video.

The design keeps things light and comfortable. The earbuds are made from soft silicone that sits neatly in the ear, and a spare set of earbuds comes included so you can swap them out or keep a backup on hand. A 1.2m lead gives you enough room to keep your device in a pocket or bag, and it ends in a standard 3.5mm stereo jack plug that works with most phones, tablets, laptops and music players. Note that if a term is unfamiliar, the 3.5mm jack is what many people call a headphone plug.

With 16 Ohm impedance and sensitivity of 98 ± 3dB, the EC9B is easy to drive from portable devices without needing an amp. Power handling is rated at 10mW.
