Description

This AV:Link HDMI lead uses active fibre optic technology to carry the HDMI signal, which lets it run far longer distances than a standard copper cable without the picture breaking up. Where a normal HDMI lead struggles beyond a few metres at high resolutions, this one holds a clean signal across the full 100m length. It carries video up to 8K Ultra High Definition (7680 x 4320p) at 60Hz, with video bandwidth up to 48Gb/s.

The cable itself is a thin 4.8mm outer diameter, so it stays flexible and easy to route around corners, through conduit or along skirting even over long runs. The connectors sit in slim alloy headshells measuring just 19mm wide and 9mm high, with gold plated pins for a reliable contact. That narrow profile helps when you need to feed the lead through a wall plate or a tight opening behind wall-mounted kit.

Built to the HDMI 2.1 standard and HDCP 2.2 compliant, it suits protected 4K and 8K sources such as UHD Blu-ray players, games consoles and media streamers running to a projector or distant display.
