This 10 metre HDMI lead from AV:Link comes fitted with a red aluminium head-shell, part of a wider range built around coloured shells. The colour coding suits installers running several leads of different lengths, and it works just as well at home if you want a reliable, tidy-looking HDMI connection behind your TV or media unit.

Inside, the lead uses a solid copper core with gold plated connectors, which helps carry the signal cleanly across the full 10 metre run. It handles 4K ultra HD video up to 3840 x 2160p at 60Hz and is HDCP 2.2 compliant, so it keeps up with current 4K sources and displays.
