Description
Our AV:Link 4K HDMI lead pairs a reliable copper core with a coloured aluminium head-shell, giving you a tidy way to connect your kit at 10 metres. The green shell makes it easy to spot at a glance, which helps if you're colour coding runs of different lengths behind a rack or an entertainment unit. It suits installers as much as anyone setting up a home cinema who just wants a lead that looks the part.
This lead is built around a solid copper core with gold plated connectors, so it carries a lossless signal without fuss. It handles 4K ultra HD video up to 3840 x 2160p at 60Hz and is HDCP 2.2 compliant, so it works with current sources and displays. You also get Ethernet, audio return channel and 3D support, plus Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Lossless sound, covering the sound and picture formats most people use day to day.
Built to the HDMI 2.0 standard, it connects TVs, projectors, games consoles, Blu-ray players and AV receivers. In the UK we tend to say HDMI lead where the US says HDMI cable, so if you've seen it listed either way, it's the same thing. The 10 metre length is handy for wall-mounted screens or projectors set back across a room. Note the 10m version is supplied without the sealed retail bag used on the shorter lengths in the range.
