Description

This 4K flat HDMI lead from AV:Link is built for wall mounted TVs, with a right-angled connector at one end that eases the pressure between the TV's HDMI socket and the wall behind it. The flat, low-profile cable measures 13mm wide and just 2.8mm thick, so it sits neatly in narrow trunking or can be chased across walls and ceilings without leaving a bulge. At 1 metre in length, it suits shorter runs from a nearby source device to the screen.

The gold plated connections carry 4K ultra HD video at up to 3840 x 2160p at 60Hz, and the lead is HDCP 2.2 compliant and built to the HDMI 2.0 standard. Audio support covers Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Lossless, so you get full sound quality alongside the picture. Ethernet, audio return channel (ARC) and 3D are all supported, which keeps the lead compatible with a wide spread of modern kit. The conductor uses copper clad steel (CCS) at a 30 AWG rating.

Each lead arrives in a hanging colour giftbox, which makes it easy to display in a retail setting or store tidily at home. If you are fitting a TV flush to the wall and want to keep the cabling out of sight, the combination of the angled plug and the flat cable does the job well.
