Description

This AV:Link HDMI lead is built for wall mounted TVs, with a right-angled connector at one end that eases the friction between the wall surface and the TV's HDMI port. The flat, low-profile cable measures just 13mm wide and 2.8mm thick, so it sits close to the wall and tucks neatly into narrow trunking or channels chased across walls and ceilings. The straight plug at the opposite end connects to your source in the usual way.

The gold plated connections carry 4K Ultra HD video at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160p at 60Hz, and the lead is HDCP 2.2 compliant. It follows the HDMI 2.0 standard and supports Ethernet, audio return channel (ARC) and 3D content. On the audio side you get Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD lossless sound, so the lead handles the formats used by current TVs, soundbars, games consoles and Blu-ray players.

Inside the cable the conductors are copper clad steel (CCS) with a 30 AWG rating, keeping the profile slim while carrying the signal across the 3 metre length. Each lead comes in a hanging colour giftbox, so it works well on retail displays as well as at home. If you are mounting a TV flush to the wall and want the cabling out of sight, this combination of a right-angled plug and flat cable makes the job tidier than a standard round lead.
