Description

The Aureline is a 1000mm sculpted column wall light built around a slender rectangular panel of natural Spanish alabaster, set within a brass-detailed frame. An integrated 32W LED runs the full length of the fitting behind the stone, casting warm 3000K light through the alabaster so the panel itself becomes the diffuser. With an 80mm width and 80mm projection from the wall, the column reads as architectural rather than decorative.

Designed for vertical surfaces in hallways, stairwells, living rooms and hotel-style bedrooms, the Aureline works as ambient and accent lighting rather than direct task light. The tall format suits double-height walls, narrow corridors flanking a doorway, or as a pair either side of a bed, fireplace or mirror. The fitting hard-wires to a 230V mains supply and mounts directly to the wall, with the brass frame concealing the fixings.

The alabaster panel is cut from a single block, so the mineral veining and tonal variation are unique to each piece. When the LED is lit, the stone reveals layered cloud-like patterns from top to bottom; when unlit, it presents as a soft cream column with subtle warm undertones. The brass framing is kept narrow and structural, edging the alabaster without competing with it. Total height is 1m, making the Aureline noticeably taller than standard wall lights and closer in scale to a wall-mounted column.

Does the Aureline come with a bulb?

Yes. The 32W LED is integrated into the fitting and runs the full length of the alabaster column, with a colour temperature of 3000K (warm white). There is no separate bulb to buy or replace.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED operates on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module being used — please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

Where is it best installed?

The 1m height suits hallways, stairwells, double-height walls and tall bedroom or living-room walls. It also works well in pairs flanking a bed, fireplace, mirror or doorway. Because it provides ambient rather than directed light, it isn't intended as a reading or task light.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and tonal variation differ between individual fittings. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and is most visible when the light is switched on.
