Description
The Aureline is a 600mm vertical column wall light cut from a single panel of natural Spanish alabaster, mounted on a slim brass back plate. An integrated 8W LED inside the column projects warm 3000K light through the stone, so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser rather than a separate shade or lens. The squared profile measures 80mm wide with an 80mm projection from the wall, giving the fitting a defined architectural edge.
Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedside positions and either side of a fireplace or mirror, the Aureline runs on 230V mains and is hard-wired into a standard wall back box. The vertical orientation suits narrow wall sections and pier walls between windows, where a wider fitting would feel cramped. Mounted in pairs, the column works as flanking light beside a bed or vanity; mounted singly it lights a corridor or recess without adding glare from a visible bulb.
Each alabaster panel shows different veining and tonal clouding depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so no two Aureline lights look identical when illuminated. The natural mineral lines run vertically through the column and become more visible once the LED is switched on, with denser veins appearing as warm amber traces against the lighter background of the stone. The brass mounting hardware is concealed behind the panel, leaving the alabaster as the only visible element on the wall.

Frequently Asked
Is the Aureline dimmable?
The integrated LED is rated at 8W on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module used, so please contact us before pairing the fitting with a dimmer to confirm.
How is it mounted to the wall?
The Aureline is hard-wired into a standard UK wall back box and fixed via a concealed brass mounting plate behind the alabaster column. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Does each piece of alabaster look the same?
No. Each column is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, clouding and tonal variation differ between pieces. The mineral lines become more pronounced when the LED is switched on. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
