Description

The Atlas is a two-arm wall light that holds two white acid-etched glass globes on adjustable arms set on a small round backplate. The etched glass turns each G9 lamp into a soft ball of light rather than a bright point, and because the arms move you can angle the two globes apart or together to aim the glow where you want it. In matt white the frame reads quietly against a pale wall and lets the two spheres do the work.

The two globes give a gentle, balanced wash rather than one strong beam, which suits a spot beside a bed, either side of a mirror, or along a hallway where you want soft light at head height. Lit, the acid-etched glass keeps both lamps even and glare-free; unlit, the pair of white globes sit as a neat, symmetrical shape on the wall.

We supply it with both G9 lamps included, ready to wire, and the backplate covers a standard wall box. It measures 300mm wide and 300mm tall with a 190mm projection from the wall, and at IP20 it is for dry indoor rooms, so we would have an electrician make the connection.

What kind of light does the Atlas give?

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. Both G9 lamps are included, so the wall light arrives ready to wire and light.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the G9 lamps fitted. With dimmable G9 bulbs on a compatible dimmer the light can be lowered; the fitting has no integrated driver.

How big is it and where does it suit?

It measures 300mm wide, 300mm tall and projects 190mm from the wall. The two-globe form suits a bedside, either side of a mirror, or a hallway at head height.
