Description
The Atlas is a wall light built from two adjustable arms, each carrying a small shade of white acid-etched blown glass. The frosted glass softens the G9 lamp behind it, so the fitting gives two pools of gentle light rather than a hard point. Lit, the pair of opal shades read as warm rounded forms against the wall; unlit, they sit as pale glass domes on slim matt gold arms.
The fitting measures 300mm wide and 300mm tall, projecting 190mm from the wall, and the two arms pivot so the light can be angled up, down or out. That makes it useful either side of a bed, along a hallway or beside a mirror, where the twin shades wash the wall evenly and lift the corners of a room.
The base, frame and arms are metal in a matt gold finish, and the two diffusers are white acid-etched blown glass. It takes two G9 lamps rated up to 4W each, supplied with the fitting, so the colour of the light follows the bulbs fitted. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Atlas give?
A soft, diffused glow from two shades rather than a single bright point. The white acid-etched glass spreads the light of each G9 lamp, so the fitting throws two gentle pools that wash the wall and lift a room's corners.
Does it come with bulbs?
Yes. Two G9 lamps rated up to 4W each are supplied with the fitting, so it is ready to wire and light. Because it takes replaceable bulbs, you can choose the warmth of the light by the lamps you fit.
Can the light be angled?
Yes. The two arms are adjustable and pivot independently, so each shade can be turned up, down or outward to aim the light where you want it, such as toward a bedside or along a wall.
Where does it suit and how big is it?
It is 300mm wide and 300mm tall and stands 190mm off the wall. The twin adjustable shades suit either side of a bed, a hallway or a spot beside a mirror, giving a soft even wash of light.
