Description
The Atla is a 260mm diameter crystal table lamp with three G9 bulb fittings arranged within a tiered polished chrome frame. The lamp head is built from individually mounted clear crystal droplets in graduated sizes, arranged in concentric circles around a central column. When lit, the three G9 bulbs inside the frame send light through multiple layers of crystal, refracting across the faceted surfaces to produce overlapping patterns of light and shadow on nearby walls and ceilings.
Designed for bedside tables, console tables in entrance halls, and living room side tables where decorative task lighting is needed, the Atla pairs ambient light with strong visual presence. The 400mm height positions the lamp head at typical bedside reading height when placed on a standard nightstand. The 5kg weight gives stability on most surfaces without needing to be fixed, and the polished chrome base of approximately 120mm diameter distributes the load evenly. The lamp takes three G9 bulbs up to 33W each, sold separately, and is dimmable when paired with suitable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
The polished chrome finish on both the frame and the circular base offers high reflectivity, amplifying the light from the bulbs and adding a second layer of sparkle to the crystal refraction. Each crystal piece is faceted with multiple cuts, so the angle and intensity of light refraction changes as you move around the lamp. The chrome backing behind the top tier of crystals acts as a reflector, pushing light downward and outward through the lower crystal layers rather than letting it escape upward. This construction is typical of Diyas decorative crystal lighting and produces more intense sparkle than pendant equivalents because the light source is enclosed within the crystal structure rather than hanging below it.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Atla take?
The lamp takes three G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white G9 LEDs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for bedside or living room use. G9 halogen bulbs can also be used but run hotter and consume more energy than LED equivalents.
Is the Atla dimmable?
Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and used with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Non-dimmable G9 bulbs will not dim and may flicker if connected to a dimmer. Check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchase.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off and allow bulbs to cool fully before cleaning. Wipe each crystal piece gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or letting water run into the bulb holders. Do not use glass cleaners or chemical sprays on the crystals as residue can dull the faceted surfaces.
What surface does the lamp suit?
The 5kg weight and 120mm circular base require a stable, level surface. The lamp suits most bedside tables, console tables and side tables in solid wood, MDF or stone. On glass-topped tables, consider placing a felt pad under the base to prevent scratching and reduce vibration noise from the weight.
