Description
The Atl1 is a 30W LED track head that fits onto a track system to direct light exactly where it is wanted. It draws 2850 lumens at a warm 3000K tone, with a focused 60 degree beam that keeps the light tight rather than spread wide. In US terms this is a track light, the adjustable spotlight style that clips onto an overhead rail and pivots to aim its beam. With a colour rendering of Ra 90, colours under the beam stay true and well separated, which suits it to picking out objects and surfaces with clarity.
Track lighting like this works well in retail displays, galleries, kitchens and open-plan living spaces where several heads share one rail and each one can be angled at a different target. The 60 degree beam concentrates the output, so rather than washing a whole room it throws an accent pool onto artwork, shelving, a worktop run or a feature wall. Mount the supporting track at a height that lets each head clear the objects below it, then space and angle the heads to layer pools of light along the run. Because it is IP20 rated it is for dry indoor settings only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor or sheltered-outdoor position.
Built from aluminium alloy in a black finish, the head weighs 790g and is rated for around 50,000 hours of use. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains through the track itself, so no separate transformer is needed, and it is not a dimmable fitting. The track mount lets it be repositioned and re-aimed along the rail as a display or layout changes. The wider Atl1 range covers other outputs and tones on the same track platform if you are building up a multi-head scheme.

Frequently Asked
What is track lighting and how does it work?
Track lighting is a system where one or more light heads clip onto a powered rail fixed to the ceiling or wall. Each head, like this 30W Atl1, draws power from the track and can be slid along it and angled independently. This lets you aim several beams at different targets from a single feed.
What track does the Atl1 head fit?
It is a track-mounted head designed to clip onto a compatible track rail rather than wire directly to a ceiling rose. Check whether your setup is a single-circuit or three-phase track before ordering, as the head must match the track type. The rest of the Atl1 range shares the same track platform.
Can I add or move heads as my layout changes?
Yes. Because each head clips onto the rail and locks in place, you can reposition it along the track and re-aim its 60 degree beam at any time. This makes it easy to add further heads or rebalance the scheme as a display or room arrangement changes.
How should I clean the Atl1 track head?
Switch off the supply and let the head cool first. Wipe the aluminium alloy body and the lens with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, avoiding solvents and abrasive cleaners. As an IP20 fitting it must stay in dry indoor areas, so never expose it to running water.
