Description
The Atl1 is an LED track light rated at 18W, drawing on 220-240V AC mains and pushing out 1700 lumens at an efficiency of 94 lm/W. It runs at a fixed 3000K warm white with a 60 degree beam, giving a defined pool of light rather than a broad wash. Track lighting works by mounting heads onto a powered rail, and what US buyers tend to call a track light or rail spot behaves exactly the same way here, with the fitting drawing power from the rail it clips onto. The narrower 60 degree beam keeps the output focused, which suits picking out specific zones along the run.
This head is built for retail floors, galleries, showrooms and studios where the lighting needs to follow the layout rather than sit fixed in one spot. Throw is directional and concentrated, so it works for grazing a feature wall, lifting a product display or marking out a counter, with several heads spaced along a single rail to cover a longer area. The 60 degree beam and 1700 lumen output make it well suited to accent and feature work where a tight, controlled spread matters more than even ambient fill. Mounting onto a three-phase track lets you run multiple heads from one supply and angle each one independently.
The body is aluminium alloy in a black finish, with the head adjustable on its mount so the beam can be aimed once installed. It carries an IP20 rating, so it is for dry indoor use only and should be kept clear of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor position. The fitting is not dimmable and clips onto the track rather than wiring directly to a fixed point, which is what allows heads to be added or repositioned as a display changes. Rated for 50,000 hours and weighing 530g, it sits within our wider Atl1 track range, where matching heads and rail components are available.

Frequently Asked
What is track lighting and how does it work?
Track lighting uses a powered rail fixed to the ceiling or wall, with individual heads that clip onto it and draw power directly from the track. The Atl1 head connects to the rail rather than being wired to one fixed position, so its light can be aimed where it is needed. This makes it a flexible way to light displays, artwork or work areas.

Can I add or move heads as my layout changes?
Yes. Because the Atl1 clips onto the track and takes its power from the rail, heads can be repositioned along the run or added in to suit a new arrangement. This is one of the main advantages of a track system over fixed spots, letting you adapt the lighting as a shop floor or gallery display is rearranged.

What track does this fit?
The Atl1 is a track-mounted head designed to clip onto a compatible powered rail. Track comes as single-circuit or three-phase, with three-phase letting you run several heads from one supply and switch them in groups. Check the rail type before ordering so the head and track match.

How do I clean the fitting?
Switch off the supply and let the head cool, then wipe the aluminium body and lens with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can mark the black finish. As it is IP20 rated for dry indoor use, keep moisture away from the fitting during cleaning.
