Designed for hallways, living rooms above sideboards or console tables, and bedrooms opposite windows where the mirror can reflect natural light back into the room, the Astral works in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher where its 95cm height can be appreciated without overwhelming the wall. The frame width of 70cm suits alcoves, chimney breasts and wall sections between doorways where a narrower vertical mirror would look lost. The 7-20kg weight requires two secure fixings into wall studs or suitable anchors rated for the load.

The silver finish on the raised circular pattern gives a cooler metallic tone than warm brass or gold, pairing cleanly with grey, white, navy and charcoal interiors. What fixings are needed for the wall?

Can it be hung horizontally or vertically?

The Astral is designed as a vertical rectangle (95cm height, 70cm width). The fixing points on the reverse are positioned for vertical hanging. Horizontal hanging is possible if the frame has central fixing points, but verify the fixing arrangement before attempting this.

How is the silver finish cleaned?

Wipe the raised circular pattern frame with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with plain water and dry immediately. Avoid sprays, polishes or abrasive cleaners that could damage the silver finish or fill the recesses between the raised motifs.

Is the mirror suitable for bathrooms?

The wood frame is not rated for high-humidity environments. The Astral is designed for dry areas such as hallways, living rooms and bedrooms. Prolonged exposure to steam and moisture in bathrooms may cause the wood substrate to warp or the silver finish to tarnish.
