Description

The Arvella is a 680mm table lamp built around a cylindrical column of grey marble cut into bands that alternate with sections of brushed gold finished metal. A circular gold plinth supports the column, and a slim gold stem rises from the top of the stacked base to carry a 400mm neutral linen drum shade. The fitting takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) housed within the upper assembly.

Designed as a sideboard, console or bedside table lamp, the Arvella suits hallways, living rooms and primary bedrooms where a substantial decorative base is wanted alongside soft ambient light. The 400mm shade gives a wide pool of light at table height, making the lamp suitable as evening reading light next to a sofa or bed when paired with a warm-white E27 LED. The footprint of the marble plinth is compact enough to share a console with framed art or a tray.

Each marble section shows different white and pale grey veining drawn from the natural stone, so no two Arvella lamps look exactly alike when lit. The brushed gold bands provide reflective contrast against the matt finish of the marble and pick up warmth from the light source above. Material transitions between the stone and metal sections are aligned tightly to keep the vertical profile clean, and the neutral linen shade tone bridges the grey of the marble with the gold metalwork without competing with either.

What bulb does the Arvella take?

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED of around 6-10W at 2700K-3000K pairs well with the neutral linen shade and gives soft ambient light suitable for living rooms and bedsides.

Is it dimmable?

The lamp itself does not include an inline dimmer. Dimming depends on the bulb fitted and the dimmer or smart plug used. A dimmable E27 LED on a compatible trailing-edge dimmer is the most common pairing.

Does the marble vary between lamps?

Yes. The grey marble bands are cut from natural stone, so veining patterns, white markings and tonal variation differ between individual lamps. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.

How is it cleaned?

Wipe the marble bands with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately — avoid acidic household sprays, as they can etch marble. Dust the linen shade with a soft brush attachment, and clean the brushed gold bands with a dry cloth only.
