Description
The Arvella is a 680mm table lamp built around a cylindrical column of alternating black marble and polished gold metal bands, topped with a 400mm black drum shade. Three sections of black marble with fine white veining are separated by two crisp gold bands, set on a circular gold plinth and finished with a slim gold stem rising into the shade. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately).
At 680mm tall with a 400mm shade, the Arvella suits console tables in entrance halls, sideboards in living rooms and larger bedside tables where a substantial lamp is wanted as a pair. The proportions favour furniture that is at least 1.2m wide; on smaller side tables the 400mm shade can overhang the edge. The E27 socket inside the upper assembly takes standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs, allowing the colour temperature and brightness to be matched to the room.
The marble is cut into three solid drum sections, each showing different veining patterns, so the banding has natural variation across the column. The polished gold bands and matching circular plinth give consistent metallic detail through the stack, and the black PVC drum shade picks up the marble tone while contrasting against the gold. The combined brass, marble and metal construction gives the lamp visual weight that suits modern, art deco-influenced and monochrome interiors.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Arvella take?
The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs all fit. A warm-white LED between 2700K and 3000K pairs well with the black and gold finish for living room and bedside use.
Is the marble real and does it vary between lamps?
Yes. Each of the three marble bands is cut from natural black marble with white veining, so the pattern, density of veining and tonal variation differ between individual lamps. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.
How big is the shade and what surface does the lamp suit?
The black drum shade is 400mm in diameter and the lamp is 680mm tall overall. It works best on console tables, sideboards and larger bedside tables at least 1.2m wide, where the shade can sit fully within the surface footprint.
Is it dimmable?
The lamp itself has a standard E27 socket, so dimming depends on the bulb fitted and any in-line or wall dimmer used. Pair a dimmable LED bulb with a compatible dimmer to control brightness.
