Description
Our Artisan Round Extending Dining Table brings a soft, weathered oak tone to the heart of the dining room. The round top rests on turned bobbin legs, a detail that gives the piece its character and connects to a cross-stretcher base for a steady footing. Made from oak, oak veneer MDF, plywood and rubber wood, it pairs solid construction with a lightly limed natural finish that shows the grain.
The extending mechanism lets you take the table from 1200mm out to 1600mm, adding an extra leaf when you need to seat a fuller table. Everyday it works as a compact round table for four to six, then opens for larger gatherings and longer meals. The drop-in leaf tucks away neatly when it is not in use, and the brass fittings visible beneath the top keep the two halves aligned.
Standing 750mm high, it suits both open-plan kitchens and dedicated dining spaces. The pale oak sits easily alongside upholstered chairs, painted sideboards or rattan seating, so it fits a range of schemes without dominating the room. The turned bobbin legs and X-shaped stretcher give it a classic feel that reads as calm rather than fussy.

Frequently Asked
What is the table made from?
It is built from a mix of oak, oak veneer MDF, plywood and rubber wood, with a natural limed oak finish across the top and legs.
How far does the table extend?
It extends from 1200mm to 1600mm using an integrated leaf, so you can open it up when you need extra space at the table.
How many people does it seat?
Closed it comfortably seats four, and once extended to 1600mm it takes up to six diners.
How do I care for the oak finish?
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry straight away. Avoid harsh cleaners and use mats under hot dishes to protect the surface.
Is the table sturdy when extended?
Yes. The turned bobbin legs connect to an X-shaped cross-stretcher, which keeps the base stable whether the table is closed or fully extended.
