The Artisan side table brings a soft, characterful note to any room with its turned bobbin legs. Each leg is shaped into a run of rounded beads, a traditional detail that gives the piece a handmade quality while keeping the overall look calm and grounded. The square top sits on a slim apron, and cross stretchers link the legs low down for steadiness.

We have made the top from oak veneer over MDF, with solid oak and plywood used through the frame and legs. The natural finish keeps the grain visible and adds a lightly limed, washed tone that suits both country-style rooms and quieter modern schemes. The pale colour works well against darker walls or alongside other timber pieces.

At 450 x 450 x 590mm, it is a practical height for use beside a sofa or an armchair, or as a small lamp table in a bedroom or hallway. The flat top holds a lamp, a stack of books or a drink, and the open base keeps it feeling light in a smaller space. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth and keep out of direct sunlight to protect the finish.
