Description

Our Artificial Wide Palm brings the fanned shape of a young cycad indoors without any of the upkeep. Broad fronds arch out from a fibrous brown trunk, with a cluster of coiled orange shoots at the centre that mimic the fresh growth of a real palm. The spread is generous, so it fills a bare corner or softens a wide shelf with plenty of foliage.

The plant is built from moulded plastic leaves shaped over wire, which lets you angle each frond to suit the spot. It sits in a concrete-look pot with a mottled grey finish and a layer of moss dressing across the top, giving it a natural, potted feel straight out of the box. The weight in the base keeps everything steady on a floor or side table.

Because it never needs water or light, this palm works in rooms where live plants struggle, from a dim hallway to a windowless bathroom. Wipe the leaves now and then to keep them looking fresh, and it will hold its shape year after year.
