Description

Our artificial orchid brings the graceful arch of a phalaenopsis into your home without any of the watering or feeding a living plant demands. Two flowering stems curve upward and outward, carrying blooms in a mix of soft yellow-green petals with deep plum-purple centres. Below them, broad dark green leaves fan out over the rim of the pot, keeping the whole arrangement looking full and settled.

The moss-green ceramic pot is finished with rows of raised dots and a mottled reactive glaze, giving it plenty of texture and a slightly rustic feel. Bamboo and iron form the internal stems, while the petals and leaves are moulded from polyfoam and plastic for a lifelike look up close. Standing 500mm tall, it works as a fixed piece on a windowsill, mantel, sideboard or desk where a real orchid might struggle for light.

Because it needs no care beyond the occasional dust, this orchid holds its shape and colour all year round. Place it in a bathroom, kitchen or living room and it stays looking fresh regardless of humidity or season.
