Description

The Arena is a ring pendant light 147cm across: a slim aluminium hoop just 5.3cm deep, hung level from the ceiling on fine suspension wires. A band of integrated LED runs around the ring, and small spotlight heads sit along it, so one fitting gives a soft line of light and directed light together. The light source is built in, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 9672 lumens with a CRI of 90, which keeps food, fabrics and skin tones looking true, and it has a 30° beam angle. We offer it in White, Black, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass or Brushed Titanium, and in 2700K or 3000K.

At 147cm across, this is a pendant for a generous room. Centred over a long dining table, it lights the whole surface and the people around it; in a large living room it gives the ceiling a clear centre. It hangs on a drop of up to 500cm, so it can sit at a comfortable height under a lofty ceiling, and the 32.5cm canopy finishes the ceiling fixing neatly. Choose 2700K for a warm, relaxed evening light, or 3000K for a slightly crisper white. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

It is dimmable, by DALI or push dimming, so it can be brought down for supper and up again when the room is busy; DALI suits a home with a lighting control system, and push dimming works from a compatible push switch. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. White and Black are plain and quiet, while Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium give the metal a soft brushed surface. A practical note before you order: measure your table and your ceiling height, because a ring 147cm across needs clear space around it, and the drop you choose should leave comfortable headroom. Our photographs show the white version.
