Description

The Arena Acoustic is a large disc pendant light in a black finish, 98cm across and just 5.3cm tall. A slim black ring runs around the edge, and a grey panel fills its centre, so from below it reads as one calm, solid circle rather than an open hoop. The light is an integrated LED set into the ring, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 1434lm of 2700K warm white light with a CRI of 90, which keeps skin tones, wood and fabrics looking true.

At this size it suits a dining room, where it can hang over a long or round table, or a living room, where it can sit above a sofa and chairs. It hangs on fine wires from a round canopy 20.6cm across, with a drop of up to 500cm, which gives plenty of length for a high ceiling. It is dimmable through a DALI control system or a push switch, so you can bring it down for a quiet evening and up again for a meal with friends. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

It runs on 230V mains and is wired in, so it is a job for a qualified electrician to install. The black finish runs right around the ring, and the slim 5.3cm profile keeps the disc looking light even at 98cm across. Its light sits in a band around the underside of the rim, framing the grey panel at the centre. As a practical note, measure your table or seating area before you order, since a 98cm disc looks best with a little clear space around it.
