Description

The Arclight is a 90mm diameter sphere pendant with an integrated LED downlight, finished in matt black plastic. The sphere houses a single 3000K LED that directs light downwards through the open base aperture, creating a focused pool of warm white illumination below the fitting. The 140mm height from canopy to base gives the sphere modest visual presence without dominating smaller rooms.

Designed for installation over kitchen counters, breakfast bars, bedside tables or as accent lighting in hallways and corridors, the Arclight suits spaces where a single point of directed task or accent light is needed. The 6m cable can be shortened during installation to position the pendant at the required drop — typically 600-900mm above a worktop or 400-600mm above a bedside table. The compact 90mm sphere works in multiples when grouped over a longer surface or island.

The matt black plastic shell absorbs ambient light and provides a clean geometric form that pairs comfortably with contemporary, minimalist and Scandinavian-influenced interiors. The plastic construction keeps the weight minimal, making it suitable for standard ceiling roses without additional reinforcement. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor installation.

Is the Arclight dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs at fixed output on 230V mains. If dimming is required, consider pairing a different pendant model with a dimmable LED bulb or driver.

Can the cable be shortened?

Yes. The 6m cable is supplied at full length and can be shortened during installation to achieve the required drop height. The excess cable is typically coiled inside the ceiling canopy or rose.

What is the light output and direction?

The LED directs light downwards through the open base aperture of the sphere, creating a focused pool of warm 3000K light below the fitting rather than diffused ambient illumination. The sphere itself does not glow.

Can this be used in a bathroom?
