Arcena Round LED Pendant Light - 4000K, Black, 70cm

The Arcena is a 700mm circular LED pendant light built around a single continuous ring of matt black aluminium with an integrated LED strip running along the inner circumference. The ring measures just 25mm in depth, giving it a minimal profile when viewed from below, and emits 4000K cool white light downwards and outwards through a diffuser panel that wraps the underside of the ring. The 2500mm suspension cables allow the fitting to be hung at varying heights above desks, kitchen islands or dining tables.

Designed for offices, kitchens, open-plan living spaces and commercial interiors where task lighting is needed without decorative warmth, the 4000K colour temperature provides clear visibility for reading, food preparation and detailed work. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments, the fitting is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas. The non-dimmable LED runs at a fixed output, providing consistent light levels without flicker.

The matt black finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, so the ring itself remains visually recessive even when lit, drawing attention to the illuminated surface below rather than the fitting. The 700mm diameter suits spaces of 12-20m² where a single central fitting provides general illumination, or can be used in pairs or groups over longer kitchen islands or open-plan zones. The ring weighs approximately 2.5kg and fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose with the cables routed through a central canopy.

Is the Arcena dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to dim the fitting may damage the LED driver.

What room size does the 700mm diameter suit?

A single 700mm Arcena provides general illumination for spaces of approximately 12-20m². Larger open-plan areas or long kitchen islands may benefit from two or more fittings spaced evenly along the length of the space.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting offers no protection against moisture and is only suitable for dry indoor environments. Bathrooms and wet rooms require IP44 or higher.

What colour is the 4000K light?

4000K is a cool white, neutral tone that sits between warm white (2700-3000K) and daylight white (5000K+). It provides clear visibility for task lighting without the blue cast of higher colour temperatures.
