The Arcena is a 50cm circular LED pendant light with a slim 25mm profile matt black ring and integrated 4000K LED. The light source runs continuously around the inside edge of the ring, casting even downward illumination without a visible bulb or fitting interrupting the geometry. The 4000K colour temperature produces neutral white light suited to task-focused spaces and contemporary interiors that favour cooler tones over warm ambient glow.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas, the Arcena hangs on a 2500mm cable that can be shortened during installation to set the ring 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining surface depending on ceiling height. The 50cm diameter covers approximately 1.2-1.5m of table length without needing multiple fittings. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor rooms, not bathrooms or outdoor locations.

The matt black finish on the aluminium ring absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping visual focus on the surfaces below rather than the fitting itself. The non-dimmable LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours, equating to around 10 years of typical domestic use before replacement. The ring weighs under 2kg and fits standard UK ceiling roses, with the cable run concealed inside the suspension wire.

Is the Arcena dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs at a fixed output on 230V mains. It cannot be paired with a dimmer switch.

What's the difference between 4000K and 3000K?

4000K produces neutral white light with a cooler, crisper tone suited to task areas and contemporary spaces. 3000K produces warm white light with a softer, amber tone preferred for ambient relaxation. The Arcena is available in both colour temperatures, check the product code or Specification tab to confirm which version you're viewing.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2500mm cable allows the ring to be set at various heights during installation. For a dining table or kitchen island, the ring typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The cable can be shortened if needed.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Arcena is suitable for dry indoor rooms only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher due to moisture and splashing.
